First Step Towards a Big Change - Day 1

Last night, Mr Jintalan informed us that he will meet us at the hotel at 10 am. We decided to go to the Save More supermarket across the street before the appointed time.

Around 10 am, we finally met Mr. Jintalan and he showed us the way to the nearest LRT station right away. It was Gilmore Station. It took us 5 stations to commute to our destination, Recto Station, and it took us around 20 minutes. Then, we took a three minute walk from Recto Station to Far Eastern University (FEU).

Quick campus tour at FEU!

At the campus, we met Mr. Harold John D. Culala, the Dean of Institute of Education (IE), Ms. Jenny Bongolan, the staff of IE, and our Buddies, Jeremiah or Miah, and Sam. Our buddies gave us quick tour around FEU, it was big and historical!

Orientation with Mr. Gonzales

After the tour, Me, Cindi, and Mr. Jintalan went to the FEU High School building to meet Mr. Gonzales. He was the one who will be in charge in our internship. We discussed the regulations of our internship in FEU High School.

On the evening, Mr Jintalan had scheduled an appointment for a casual meeting at the campus' café. We had our coffee with Mr. Jintalan, Mr. Benji, other undergraduate studies staff, and Jeremiah. Our cooperating teachers are supposed to come but they still have classes. They served us a good coffee and a huge serving of Tiramisu Cake! It is a shame that I forgot to take any picture on that meeting, especially the cake, but I can ensure you it was really big!
